As the only Cyprus olive oil brand at Whole Foods, Colive needed a design that could both stand out and tell its powerful story.
Their previous packaging failed to articulate their mission or connect effectively on the shelf, leaving their brand underrepresented in a competitive market.
Our solution was to craft a visual identity inspired by the culture, heritage, and iconic symbolism of Cyprus. The color palette draws from the Cyprus flag, incorporating deep teal green, orange, and a complementary early-harvest olive green. The proprietary Greek-inspired logo font integrates olive branches to symbolize peace, and its stacked arrangement cleverly reads “co-exist,” reinforcing Colive’s unity-driven mission.
Decorative elements, including olive branches and a map of Cyprus, honor the legacy of Cypriot olives and the nation’s old-world heritage. The aluminum packaging design allowed the natural finish of the sustainable material to shine, emphasizing Colive’s commitment to environmentally conscious practices.
The result? A brand that feels elevated, artisanal, and authentic while being modern and approachable. Colive now stands as a proud representation of Cyprus’s culture and values on shelves across the U.S.
